$2.9 million in funding approved for sewer expansion

The Federal/Provincial Clean Water and Wastewater Fund will provide over $2.9 million for extension of wastewater collection in sections of West Sechelt and West Porpoise Bay.  Member of Parliament Pamela Goldsmith-Jones and Member of the Legislative Assembly for West Vancouver, Sea to Sky Jordan Sturdy announced the funding of this and a number of other projects located on the Sunshine Coast at a press conference held at the Gibsons Public Market on March 31st.  Click here to review the Backgrounder on the Clean Water and Wastewater Fund projects approved around the province.

The Sechelt Sanitary Sewer Expansion Project will extend wastewater collection into sewer service areas A02 and A06.  Click here to view the area maps.
