The District of Sechelt will be holding a Public Hearing on May 22, 2018 at 7:00pm regarding an application to rezone a property located at 5981 Shoal Way in the West Porpoise Bay neighbourhood from RR-1 (Rural Residential 1 Zone) to R-1 (Residential 1 Zone).
District of Sechelt Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 25-290, 2018 (Murmac Construction Ltd.) proposes to amend District of Sechelt Zoning Bylaw No. 25, 1987 for the property located at 5981 Shoal Way and legally known as BLOCK 12 DISTRICT LOT 1471 PLAN 3660, PID 015-471-675 from the “RR-1 Rural Residential Zone” to a “R-1 Residential zone.” The subject property is on the map marked Schedule ‘A’ to Bylaw No. 25-290, 2018 (Murmac Construction Ltd.).
The purpose of the rezoning is to allow for a single family subdivision of approximately 21 lots with a minimum lot size of 500m2. The proposal is consistent with District of Sechelt Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 492, 2010.
