Sechelt search engine searches the text of all web pages and all documents that have been uploaded. Here are some search techniques that may help refine your results.
Try to use the minimum number of words, but the maximum amount of relevant information – the more specific the words are to the subject matter, the better. Try a similar word in the search such as poultry instead of chicken.
- Phrase Search: Quotes are used to tell the search engine which terms must be found together in the document "starting a business"
- Boolean Operators such as AND, OR, NOT
AND: Income AND Labour or Income +Labour
(In this search both terms must be included in the document)
NOT: Income NOT Labour or Income -Labour
(This search would excludes the term labour)
Note: We are in the process of ensuring all uploaded PDF documents are in "searchable text" format. A few of the uploaded documents may not be formatted to enable searchability.
