Garbage & Recycling Information

March 6, 2018 - Effective immediately, please do not put film plastic, over plastic or grocery bags in your recycling cart. Film plastic is food wrap and it is garbage. Over plastic is plastic packaging (like what your toilet paper comes wrapped in). Over plastic and grocery store plastic bags can be taken to Salish Soils for recycling. Here is the news release that explains this change in service:

Sechelt has separate pickup days for Garbage and Recycling.

Recycling is picked up bi-weekly on Mondays. Check the Zone map in the Curbside Pickup Calendar to determine when your pickup day will occur.
