Property Tax Certificates
There are two (2) ways to obtain a Property Tax Certificate:
- Professional firms, financial institutions, and other consumers that provide their services throughout the Lower Mainland or Province wide can purchase tax certificates through BC Online. To register please go to and follow the link to Account Set up. The BC Online price list is also available on their website.
- Customers may order a Tax Certificate directly from the District of Sechelt:
- Email to taxinfo@sechelt.ca; or
- Fax Tax Certificate Request to 604-885-7591; or
- Phone or walk during regular office hours at 2nd Floor, 5797 Cowrie Street or 604-885-1986.
Important Notice for Property Conveyance Purposes
If the property is changing ownership and is on the Tax Prepayment Plan, monthly withdrawals will continue until the property owner notifies the Taxation Department in writing to cancel the plan.
