District of Sechelt Calendar

Mayor and Council meet as Council on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month, and as a Committee of the Whole on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month, unless otherwise posted. A PDF copy of the 2021 Calendar can be found here, but dates and times may change so please view the Calendar below for the most up to date information.  

IMPORTANT UPDATE: In accordance with the orders from the Provincial Health Officer regarding COVID-19 and the requirement for physical distancing, all Council and Committee meetings, and public hearings will be conducted via online Zoom meeting platform until further notice. All meetings are open to the public by computer and telephone.

The District will be holding a Virtual Public Hearing on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 6:00pm for the following development application:

Rezoning Application for 5546 Inlet Avenue (Legion 140)

WHAT’S PROPOSED

To allow Neighbourhood Pub as a permitted use at 5546 Inlet Avenue. This change will facilitate the relocation of the Sechelt Legion from the current location on Wharf Avenue to Inlet Avenue.
