The District of Sechelt has two (2) volunteer opportunities on the Community Investment Program Grant Review Committee. Appointees to this position will review grant applications from not-for-profit and charitable organizations, based on the policy and priorities established by Sechelt Council. Each volunteer will be appointed for a 2-year term beginning in 2022.

Applicant requirements:
• Knowledge of the non-profit sector
• Knowledge of local community organizations
• Ability to thoughtfully review and evaluate grant applications
Time commitment: the Committee generally reviews applications remotely (e.g. from home) in March, and meets either online or in-person for one full day in March or April. In addition, the Committee may hold one or two meetings each year to discuss the CIP Grant policy, procedures etc.
