Ebbtide dog park

Ebbtide Park offers the perfect location for a centrally located off-leash dog park. Its proximity to downtown provides easy walking access for residents in the village core and also provides amble near-by parking. It offers one acre of space, shaded areas, a park like setting and is not in direct conflict with any neighbours. It would provide the perfect place for dog owners to meet other people with common interests and foster a sense of community.

A dog park is an off-leash area where dogs and there owners can socialize in a safe setting. Dog parks offer a wealth of benefits to the dogs, their owners and the community. They allow dogs to exercise and socialize in an enclosed play area to prevent conflict with vehicles and they also prevent off-leash dogs from infringing on the rights of other community members. Signs will clearly specify park hours and rules outlining the responsibilities of dog owners.

  • One acre park, centrally located
  • Open and shaded areas
  • Separated areas for large and small Dogs

A dog park for Sechelt means that we will have a fenced area for dogs to play and they will stop using our sports fields. It's a big win for dog owners and sports field users.
