To consider Official Community Plan Amendment Bylaw 492-36, 2023 and Zoning Amendment Bylaw 580-08, 2023 for a 49-unit strata townhouse development. The OCP amendment is required for a minor density increase in units/ha from 35 units/ha to 38 units/ha.

Stage 1 Water Restriction in Effect

Sechelt is now on Stage 1 water restrictions. Each year, the Sunshine Coast Regional District (SCRD) enacts Stage 1 automatically on May 1st to promote water conservation and ensure water supply and treatment systems can meet the large seasonal increase in outdoor water use during the summer.
Treated water is expensive and precious. Rethinking how we use treated water will help everyone in the long run.
