Municipal Hall Holiday Closure

Sechelt Municipal Hall will be closed from afternoon December 24 to January 1. Regular operating hours will resume on January 2, 2026. 

Report a Bylaw Infraction

To report a general complaint to our bylaw officers, you can 

  • report an issue online
  • email the bylaw department
  • put through a notice using your Sechelt Citizen App.

Christmas Day - No collection

If your regular collection day is:

  • Thursday, your collection will be Friday, December 26th. (Recycling week)
  • Friday, your collection will be Saturday, December 27th. (Recycling week)

New Years Day - No collection

If your regular collection day is:

  • Thursday, your collection will be Friday, January 2nd. (Garbage week)
  • Friday, your collection will be Saturday, January 3rd. (Garbage week)
