Tax Sale

As of Monday, September 29, there are no longer any properties subject to tax sale in the District of Sechelt. 

What is a tax sale?

As per the Local Government Act, the District auctions properties with three years of outstanding taxes to the highest bidder at a Tax Sale. The list of properties being auctioned is advertised in local print media in September.

Mission House Closure: September

Mission House is getting a refresh! 

As of September 1, 2025, Mission House will be closed for approximately one month while it undergoes maintenance. The rental space and grounds will get new:

• septic system
• patio
• flooring
• interior paint
