NOTICE OF COUNCIL PROCEDURE BYLAW AMENDMENT
Pursuant to the Community Charter, notice is hereby given that the District of Sechelt Council is proposing to amend Council Procedure Bylaw No. 568, 2018 and is required to give public notice. In general terms, proposed amendments include, but are not limited to:
- Compliance with Council Code of Conduct Bylaw and Amendments;
- Chief Administrative Officer or delegate has final discretion for agendas;
- Amendments to Order of Proceedings and Business;
CANCELLED: Budget Information Session #2

Please note that the second round of budget engagement on December 18th is cancelled because no changes have been made to the draft budget since the first round. This includes both sessions scheduled for noon and 7 p.m.
Another session will be held in early January pending any change requests from Council. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Over to Ottawa
At the end of November, I travelled to Ottawa for the Green Municipal Fund Council meetings (you may recall I am one of six municipal representatives on this national body.) I took the opportunity to head there two days early to meet with various federal department representatives and MPs. Temp Hospital ER Patient Drop-off

A message from Vancouver Coastal Health
Some temporary upcoming changes to the emergency department (ED) are coming to the drop off and parking areas during renovations to the Sechelt Hospital ED.
On Monday, December 4, 2023, pre-construction activities will begin and the ED drop-off zone will temporarily change during this time.
