Are you a creative leader with a passion for the arts? The District of Sechelt is seeking expressions of interest for the role of Festival Producer for the Sechelt Arts Festival. The Sechelt Arts Festival provides accessible arts programming to all residents of the District of Sechelt and area, showcasing local talent to residents and visitors in a professionally produced ten-fourteen day event. The Festival supports and encourages Sunshine Coast artists by providing opportunities for collaboration among the multi-talented coast arts community and embraces all art forms, including dance, music, theatre, heritage, and the visual arts. In 2019 over one hundred performers, artists, and 40 volunteers participated in the planning and implementation of the festival. As well, the festival recorded attendance of over 4,100 people from of all ages. Over 300 Coast students attended our school shows or toured the curated art exhibition and heritage exhibits.
