The District maintains 4 multi-use sports fields, 7 softball diamonds, 2 tennis courts, a basketball court, volleyball court and a skateboard park.

Please note that the tennis courts, basketball court, volleyball court and skateboard park cannot be booked, and are available on a first come, first served basis.
Permit Requirements
Organizations or sports-related user groups requiring the use of a Municipal Park must first make application through the Parks Department at 604-885-1986 or email us here. The District of Sechelt requires similar documents when booking a park for a special event or sport use. Applicants are required to provide the following:
- General liability insurance - More information on our insurance requirements are outlined on the applications
- Payment of a damage deposit - depending on location, our damage deposits range from $250.00 to $500.00
Book a Park/Field for a Special Event
In addition to the requirements above, payment of an event permit fee is also required. Event permit rates are as follows:
- Commercial/Private/Other - $100.00 per day
- Non-Profit - $5.00 per day
- Block 7/Spirit Square - $200.00 per day
Please note that a permit will not be issued until all fees are paid and any conditions met.
