The District of Sechelt values public art as a significant tool for promoting the cultural vibrancy of Sechelt, encouraging economic development, and creating a sense of enhanced civic pride and identity. Artists interested in receiving notifications for art opportunities offered by the District of Sechelt can contact us and ask to be added to the email distribution list. Artists are also encouraged to watch for opportunities on the District of Sechelt's Facebook page and Instagram account

ARTIST CALL | accepting applications
The District of Sechelt’s community public art program showcases the work of local artists and highlights the creativity of our community. The District of Sechelt is inviting artists to apply for the opportunity to display their work in the Rockwood Lodge (upper and lower floors) and Mission Point House during the 2026 Sunshine Coast Art Crawl (October 23, 24, 25, 2026). All three venues are wheelchair accessible and contain a kitchen and accessible bathroom.
The Sunshine Coast Art Crawl is a 3-day, self-directed tour showcasing artists from Earls Cove to Gambier Island.
