Development Application Portal and Application Forms
Update: June 2025
The District of Sechelt is launching a new online application portal and workflow management system to improve development application processing. We are working with Pipefy to provide a no-code solution to enhance application review and apply automation opportunities where possible. Pipefy is business process automation software that will provide for online application intake and management application workflows from start to finish. It will improve review efficiency and effectiveness and provide better tracking of processing time and potential bottlenecks. At this time, not all development applications are included in the online portal.
For the following application types, please use the application portal:
- Development Permits
- Development Variance Permits
- Rezoning Applications: both OCP Compliant and Applications requiring OCP Amendments)
- Subdivision Applications
- Tree Cutting Permit
- Sign Permit
- Temporary Use Permit
Development Application Portal
For all other application types, please continue to use the Development Application PDF form provided below:
- Servicing Agreement Applications
- Board of Variance
- Agricultural Land Commission (ALC) Permits
- Liquor License Permits
*For Agricultural Land Commission (ALC) Permits and Liquor License Permits, an application to the District of Sechelt is required in addition to application to respective Provincial online Portals.
