Mobile Vending

The District of Sechelt has launched a New Park Vending Pilot Program. 

This pilot program includes year-round options and more vendor spaces in three vending locations. 

We are accepting applications for the 2025 summer and winter seasons!

Vendor Types

To apply, you must fall into one of the categories below:

1. Street Food Vendor (food truck, food trailer or food cart)
   • May operate in certain District locations
   • May operate on private property in an industrial, institutional or commercial zone with owner permission. 
2. Roaming Street Food Vendor (Food truck)
   • Allows for food and non-alcoholic drinks, ice cream, etc. to be sold on District property from a vending unit that may change locations.
   • Cannot block the road for a period of time to make a sale.
   • Must only sell pre-packaged or prepared food items.
3. Street Vendor
   • Vending of non-food items. Examples include artwork, handcrafts, flowers, water sports, jewelry, sunglasses, etc.
