Amendment to Council Procedure Bylaw

NOTICE OF COUNCIL PROCEDURE BYLAW AMENDMENT

Pursuant to the Community Charter, notice is hereby given that the District of Sechelt Council is proposing to amend Council Procedure Bylaw No. 568, 2018 and is required to give public notice. In general terms, proposed amendments include, but are not limited to:

• Compliance with Council Code of Conduct Bylaw and Amendments;
• Chief Administrative Officer or delegate has final discretion for agendas;
• Amendments to Order of Proceedings and Business;
• Housekeeping amendments including formatting changes; and
• Option to give first, second and third reading to a bylaw with one resolution.
