Full Campfire Ban in Effect

As of noon on Friday, July 12, a full outdoor fire ban will be in place for the Coastal Fire Centre of the province. Find full details from the BC Wildfire Service website here.

This includes:

• campfires
• fires on the beach above AND below the tide line
• fires on public and private property
• chimneas
• fireworks
• backyard fires etc.

Propane and briquette fueled BBQ's are allowed as are propane fired campfire rings with a flame height of 6 inches (15 centimeters) or less.
