Local Organizations Receive Funding

Four community organizations have received some much-needed funding thanks to the District's Community Investment Program. Mayor Henderson and Councillor Bell presented cheques to the following groups:

• $500 - Sunshine Coast Community Orchestra Association
• $5000 - Sunshine Coast Hospice Society
• $10,000 - Arrowhead Clubhouse
• $10,500 - Restorative Justice Program of the Sunshine Coast

The District of Sechelt’s Community Investment Program (CIP) Grants are intended to support non-profit and charitable organizations that serve residents of Sechelt. These grants are provided to assist eligible organizations with the delivery of services which contribute to the social, cultural, and environmental well-being of our community.
