Adam Shepherd
Councillor Adam Shepherd
Councillor Shepherd is serving his first term on Council. Committed to improving the level of communication between Council and neighbourhoods, Adam aims to listen and gather public feedback in hopes of helping Council make educated decisions.
Residing in Sechelt since 2016, Adam comes from a career in the development and management of commercial shopping centres, both nationally and internationally. Currently, Councillor Shepherd is the President of the East Porpoise Bay Community Association and volunteers his time with The Friends of the Library book sales, trail building at Hidden Grove and at monthly clean ups of Sechelt Inlet Road.
Adam is committed to improving the level of communication between Council and neighbourhoods, which is critical to residents feeling their voices have been heard in any municipal process.
“No matter what process is before Council: water supply or conservation methods, public safety or updating of the Official Community Plan, I am committed to gathering residents feedback in hopes of making a better decision.”
