Dianne McLauchlan
Councillor Dianne McLauchlan
A first-time councillor, Dianne has been a registered professional planner for over 25 years. Councillor McLauchlan’s career has taken her from planning streetscapes to coordinating major city assets and designing award-winning green buildings.
As a LEED Accredited Professional, Dianne’s goal on Council is to advocate for the public interest and creation of a regenerative Sechelt that thrives in the face of climate change. Dianne holds a BAA in Urban and Regional Planning and a Master of Architecture degree.
Dianne chose Sechelt village as her home in 2014 due to the friendliness of the area, walkability of the neighbourhood and the close proximity to the beautiful parks and oceanfront esplanade.
