Tax Certificates

A tax certificate is a statement of your property tax account.

There are several ways to obtain a Property Tax Certificate:

Please be advised:
If the property is in a company name, the requestee must provide a statement to show that they are the registered owner of the property. This can be shareholder listings, etc.

Requests for mobile homes must be directly emailed to: propertytax@sechelt.ca

Important Notice for Property Conveyance Purposes

If the property is changing ownership and is on the Tax Prepayment Plan, monthly withdrawals will continue until the property owner notifies the Taxation Department in writing to cancel the plan.
