  • Share Your Feedback on the Draft Community Services Master Plan

    Residents are invited to review and provide feedback on the draft Community Services Master Plan. The plan will help guide decisions about parks, outdoor recreation, and cultural services over the next 10 years.

    The draft plan is based on community input gathered through surveys, engagement sessions with youth and seniors, interviews with community organizations, stakeholder discussions, and a Council workshop.

    The plan focuses on improving accessibility, strengthening community partnerships, expanding programming opportunities, supporting volunteers, and planning for the long-term care of community facilities and services.

  • 2025 Annual Report Approved

    At their meeting on Wednesday June 17, Council received and reviewed the District’s 2025 Annual Report.

    Following a two-week period for public review and input, the published report highlights the District of Sechelt’s actions and accomplishments in advancing Council and corporate strategic goals throughout 2025. The added financial statements reflect the highest standards of government accountability.

    What’s inside the report?

    • List of accomplishments categorized by each strategic priority.
    • Quick stats from every department.
    • Audited Financial statements to present a clear picture of the District’s revenues, expenditures and investments.

    Featuring images and quick stats, the report offers citizens a snap shot of what staff and Council accomplished in 2025.

  • Property Tax Update

    Property Tax Notices have been mailed.

    If you have not received your notice, please contact us via email or this email, or phone (604) 885-1986.

    The District has identified that some tax notices may not have been printed and mailed as intended. Staff are currently working to identify affected property owners and will ensure notices are issued as soon as possible.

    We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.

    Reminder: Payment is due July 2nd 2026.

    If you haven't already, you can sign up to see your property taxes online. Once on the page you will see the Login or Register at the top right.

    Members needed!

    The Sechelt Accessibility Working Group helps make the community more accessible for everyone. 

    Group members provide recommendations and advice to District staff, helping to shape decisions, day-to-day operations and community improvement projects.
