In the wake of the tragic shooting that took place in Tumbler Ridge on February 10th, Council sends this letter of condolences to the northern municipality and its residents:

The District of Sechelt has vacancies on the Advisory Planning Commission (APC) for a two-year term from early 2026 to December 2027.

The APC makes recommendations to Council on maters respecting land use, community planning, and proposed amendments and initiatives related to the Official Community Plan and Zoning Bylaw.
