Sechelt Water Resource Centre
Wastewater is treated at the Sechelt Water Resource Centre (WRC). Opened in 2014, the building meets LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold standard and is located at 5678 Surf Circle.
The WRC includes a greenhouse that uses innovative organic processes that increase the effectiveness of the treatment process. The design ensures the facility will integrate well with the surrounding neighbourhood and the adjacent Sechelt Marsh park.
