ON NOW: Stage 3 Water Restrictions
Stage 3 water restrictions is now active in Sechelt. This is an acute level, one stage before a full ban on all outside watering. Please continue to conserve water - efforts from residents and visitors make a BIG difference!

These regulations apply only to the use of treated drinking water not to the use of rainwater, private well water or any forms of recycled water.
The following is NOT permitted during Stage 3:
- No sprinklers, soaker hoses or micro spray
- No washing sidewalks, driveways, windows, fences or exterior building surfaces
- No filling swimming pools, hot tubs/spas, garden ponds, fountains
The following IS permitted for watering gardens, trees and plants:
- Watering trees, shrubs, flowers with a hand held hose with a nozzle, a hand held container or drip-irrigation for 1 hr/ day max 7 am – 8 am or 7 pm – 8 pm.
- Watering food producing plants and trees with a hand-held hose with a nozzle, hand held container or drip-irrigation for 2 hr/ day max 7 am – 9 am and 7 pm – 9 pm
