Calling all sports teams and field users! The Spring/Summer sports field application are now open!
The District of Sechelt and SCRD are now accepting applications for ongoing field use from April 1- August 31, 2026.

Deadline: February 15, 2026

The District of Sechelt has vacancies on the Advisory Planning Commission (APC) for a two-year term from early 2026 to December 2027.

The APC makes recommendations to Council on maters respecting land use, community planning, and proposed amendments and initiatives related to the Official Community Plan and Zoning Bylaw.

At the December 17, 2025, Regular Council Meeting, Council reviewed a proposed Notice of Motion regarding ‘Conditional Support for the BC Housing Supporting Housing Proposals identified for Ebbtide Street and Hightide Avenue’.
