Municipal Hall: New Temporary Public Location

Due to a water leak in the front reception area of Municipal Hall, a new temporary location has been set up for residents who would like to speak to someone in person.
New location
Sechelt Operations Centre
5400 Dusty Road
Hours - 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Business licences, payments and other information can be aquired at the new location.
Looking to speak to someone in the Planning Department? Please call or email the planning team to set up an appointment.
UPDATE: Wednesday & Thursday Waste Collection Cancelled

Due to snow and poor road conditions on side streets, waste collection on the Wednesday and Thursday routes is cancelled.
Pick Up Plan:- Wednesday normal collection - make up will be on Saturday, January 20.
- Thursday normal collection - make up will be on Monday, January 22.
Please put bins by 8 a.m.
*Please check back as schedule is subject to change due to weather.

Time to Renew Business and Pet Licences

Do you have a business licence or a dog licence? If so, it's time to renew for 2024. Deadline: January 31, 2024. You can renew, register and pay online, just click "Online Services" on the homepage.
Once in the Online Services section click "Login" to access your account or "Register" to create an account. With an account you can see your personal info, make payments and see payment history regarding your licences and property tax.

NOTICE OF COUNCIL PROCEDURE BYLAW AMENDMENT
Pursuant to the Community Charter, notice is hereby given that the District of Sechelt Council is proposing to amend Council Procedure Bylaw No. 568, 2018 and is required to give public notice. In general terms, proposed amendments include, but are not limited to:
- Compliance with Council Code of Conduct Bylaw and Amendments;
- Chief Administrative Officer or delegate has final discretion for agendas;
- Amendments to Order of Proceedings and Business;
