With a potential upcoming Canada Post strike we encourage property owners to register for electronic tax billing to avoid a delay in receiving a paper copy.
Sign up today at sechelt.ca/online. Click "Register" in top right corner.
Failure to receive your bill does not excuse property owners from payment or from penalties for late payment.

Pilot Project: Bear-Resistant Organics Bins

Great News!
The District is testing out bear-resistant green organics bins for residents of Sandy Hook, Tillicum Bay and Tuwanek.
The bins have lids that remain locked until lifted upside down by the waste collection truck.
The DetailsWho: Residents in Sandy Hook, Tillicum Bay or Tuwanek
What: 175 bear-resistant green organics bins. Residents will trade in their current green bin for a bear-resistant bin. First-come, first-served basis.
Cost: $100 including tax. This is a one-time fee and is the price...
